What will happen after June 12, 2018?

Peter sent the following letter on May 15th, 2018. This is the shorter half of the version and you can read the full version here:

W
ould North Korea keep any agreement made with President Trump and President Moon of South Korea? How long would they honor any agreement made after UN sanctions are removed? Will North Korea go back to the old North Korean way after they received enough economic support to sustain themselves? What do I expect at this point? Nothing is certain. Many say and hope that Kim Jung-un is different than his father. How so? How can we say that he is different when he killed his uncle and killed his half-brother to eliminate any potential adversary? This year, immediately after April 27
th, North Korea reinforced their old tactic: North Koreans are facing a harsh situation when they are caught watching outside news or South Korean drama. The big question is will North Korea really give up nuclear arms?....Or are they going to hide and threaten the US again?
I believe Kim Jong-un was at the end of his rope politically and economically. He is losing his leadership and support from the people even with continuous nuclear tests to show that he is a powerful man. However, at this juncture, Kim Jong-un fears that if he does not open and maintain nuclear capabilities, North Korea may face a military atack from outside. If war happens, he will lose his leadership position and power. In contrast, if he opens the country without preparation, the nation will collapse. He will then be blamed and may lose his leadership. Therefore, Kim Jong-un is reaching out to the outside world through the President of South Korea who is considered a follower of socialism. So, it is not surprising that he and South Korean President Moon have agreed to denuclearization.
Therefore, my prayer is that the words of the agreement will stand; and what Kim Jong-un agrees to will be kept. We ask God to give wisdom to President Trump and his associates and protect them from the Enemy's influence during the planned summit on June 12th. We pray that whatever the United States determines and decides upon in the agreement will honor God and His people, in order that they may worship freely in North Korea. I still believe God will open North Korea in His own way and that the world would know Him-especially His people. When that happens, we will see His glory and give Him the victory.
What shall we do if North Korea opens up on a limited basis? That means we are able to enter into North Korea. We need a new missional strategy to enter into North Korea to bring the Gospel and build His church. We should enter through any opening, however small. We should take advantage of any opening. Although a black crow may not be able to change its color, we can teach it to hold back and allow other birds to be fed. Instead of waiting for the nation to fall, let us go and proclaim the Gospel in North Korea directly and indirectly to bring the lost souls to the Kingdom of God. We may go ourselves as tourists to step on the land and proclaim that the land belongs to God. Or we may go with food and medicine as NGO workers to provide basic human needs to the most vulnerable and needy people. We may build a small clinic, so we can share the love of Jesus with those people. Let us tell others to participate in mission to North Korea. We may enter into for a small business enterprise to increase employment within underground Christian community to build new infrastructure. Therefore, we must continue to serve in any way we can to bring glory to God in North Korea.
Until we meet in North Korea, I ask God to bless you and give peace for His Kingdom.

With His love and peace,

Isaac and Peter

Speedy Recovery         Money Talks                 Stateless Children           Denuclearization?
Pray for speedy recovery upon the three Korean-Americans!e1
On May 10th, three Korean-Americans (Kim Dong-chul, Tony Kim Sang-deok, Kim Hak-song) who had been detained in North Korea returned to their family. Kenneth Bae, who had been detained for more than two years in North Korea for two years and released in 2014, congratulated them on their release and explained to them by his own experience through Radio Free Asia broadcasts that they should first spend quality time with their family rather than continuing with their work whether it is ministry or just work.
These are not the only Americans released after detention in North Korea. Others who were released earlier confessed that they felt more desperation after returning home than they were in North Korea. And before they returned to their normal lives, that their daily life became difficult due to the feeling that they were victims of unfair acts by North Korean authorities and they had to suffer extreme anger, insecurity, anxiety, loss and guilt.
Although they had to endure physical and mental suffering during their detention in North Korea, they needed time to recover from their emotional distress even after their release. We need much prayer for their speedy recovery and the evil deeds of North Korea will stop immediately in Jesus' Name. And pray that others who are still detained in North Korea will be released ASAP.
Lord, our God, as you said in Hebrews 13:3, "Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering." I lift up in prayer those who were detained in North Korea and released, and those who are still detained in North Korea. I thank my God through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, for releasing the three Americans who were detained. However, protect the body and mind of all those who have been subjected to physical and mental suffering in North Korea and who have suffered emotional anxiety, anger, emotional exhaustion and confusion even after their release. Have mercy upon the Koreans still detained in North Korea so that they will released swiftly and safely.  In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen!
All things are possible with money in North Korea! e2
The following news is from a NK field worker:
"Currently, all things are possible with money in North Korea. There isn't a place you cannot enter with money. If you bribe the train attendants, they help you get to your destination. Even drug dealers pass with money. Therefore, the time has come where with money bibles can be delivered.
The fact that money is making a difference in North Korea is because of sanctions bringing economic hardship and or due to rationing being stopped, North Korea is changing, and money has become the only means to solve their life necessities. Much prayer is needed during this window of opportunity for the Bible to be spread to many North Koreans so that the Word of God, not money, can be filled in the hearts of North Koreans.
We lift up North Korea situation where all things are possible with money by claiming 1 Thessalonians 2:13,  "And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe."   May the Word of God be delivered before money to the North Koreans who are able to live only under strict control even willing to sell drugs to make money, so that their hearts may be filled with the love of God.  Pour out your spirit of passion upon us so that we will be more passionate about delivering Bibles to North Korea and be more compassionate upon the NK souls who are in dire need of your Gospel. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen!
STOP NK Security Guardians taking money from the Stateless Children! three
Recently, starving Stateless children are increasing in North Korea. The bigger problem is that the Stateless children in Hamhung City and neighboring villages are forming a gang to steal from merchants and residents in the market. The security guardians in charge of the Stateless children are taking money from them rather than stopping them. There is a proverb in Korean saying, "Eating from the liver of a flea".
The evil deeds of security guardians taking money from the Stateless Children who are stealing from the poor North Koreans are unforgivable. But, what shall we do? This is the reality of North Korea. But what shall we do? This is the real reality of North Korea! Nevertheless, the authorities in North Korea are frantic to maintain their system without worrying about the lives of the residents. Prayer is much needed for these North Korean authorities to quickly stop their evil deeds and to take care of their people.
John 6:35 says, "Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. We pray for the North Korean security guards who are supposed to protect the Stateless Children but rather exploiting them by taking money from them.
Have mercy upon North Korea where one can only survive as the Stateless Children. Please give North Korea an opportunity to create an environment where the children will no longer be "stateless", and live a normal life at home. In the structure where there is no government rationing, let the evil which exploits the people who do not have power in the structure to live by themselves be stopped. Foremost, open doors among the North Korean people so that the Gospel can penetrate and permeate throughout North Korea. And ultimately, may the NK people receive the blessing of eternal life by accepting Jesus who is the eternal bread of life. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Let the complete denuclearization of NK be accomplished in Jesus' Name!e4
On May 24, a nuclear test was carried out on a remote mountain in the north-eastern part of North Korea.
Around eleven o'clock in the morning, it began with the demolition of No. 2 tunnels and observatory north. And in the afternoon, the 4th tunnel in the west, and 5th facility including the living building headquarters, up to three south tunnels and two remaining barracks were bombed in order. The consciousness of dismissal of the North Korean nuclear test facility proceeded in turn.
The response to the nuclear test report is divided into two. There are those who welcome the resolution of the nuclear issue and inter-Korean conflicts, and on the other hand, there is a concern that the nuclear test is only showing the explosion and there will be hidden nuclear weapons. Even if this show of North Korea 's ritual is for showing sake, we need much prayer that God will begin the full denuclearization of North Korea. If North Korea has any nuclear weapons, we must pray that all its nuclear weapons will be eliminated completely, and that this will be a starting point for rapid Gospel Peaceful unification.
Psalm 136: 12 says, "Give thanks to the Lord, who led you with His mighty hand and outstretched arm; for His love endures forever." The LORD God who has done miracles in the land of Egypt, and brought the people of Israel out of their hands and outstretched arms! Please demonstrate Your mighty power to overcome all situations in North Korea. Beginning with the ceremony of abandonment of this test, please make sure that all the nuclear weapons possessed by North Korea are completely eliminated and the complete denuclearization of North Korea will be accomplished. So that it will be a real opportunity for rapid Gospel Peaceful unification. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen!
